Blogs

Since we are rather passionate about modern media and how it affects business, we like to share it.  We have six weblogs in various stages of maturity. Each focus on a different aspect of new media.

A NEW Blog - we've got lots of hip companies we'll be covering!
Hip Organizations

Market insurgencies and the organizations that innovate by embracing the collaborative media that arms them. Our newest blog and we're looking forward to seeing where it goes from here.

The Modohood

By the trend watchers at here at MarCom:Interactive.  The ModoHood is a tour of modern media in action - wherever we find it in the global neighborhood.  It is always a fun look-see and is updated frequently with new media sightings.

Business Communicators of Second Life

Explores the culture and potential of virtual worlds such as Second Life for business communications and information dissemination.  This blog is also the center of discussion for the in-world group we have organized, called SL Business Communicators.  Includes news and occasional case studies. Join our monthly meetings in Second Life! We're not currently updating this blog.

Modern Voices

Voices captured throughout the modern mediasphere. Quotes and quips that capture the state of today's media. Periodic postings as we find great quips from great voices.

ZnetLady, Modern MediaModo

A blog that dates back to 2004. Linda Zimmer posts to it now very ocassionally, as she is working on a couple of new blogs these days. It is commentary on media trends and tools, includes primers on specific media tools, and interpretations for business on emerging media.

Modern Mediasphere

Looks at specific modern media, discusses “what it is good for” and “how can I use it.” We try to give lots of examples of it in business use. Modern Mediasphere is an archived blog.
